while maintaining local sound requirements.

UNIQUE STYLE

Based on your preference, multiple
configurations and finishes available to accent any boat.

Exhaust Types

Diverters
Diverters
"A diverter is a controlled device that changes the flow of fluids, gases and solid materials."

The most cost effective exhaust option is a full time thru-hull system. This system allows the exhaust to exit full time but does not offer control over the exhaust flow or sound.

CORSA Performance Marine offers two different diverter options: Captains Call Plus***LINK TO CC+ below***and the Captains Call ***LINK TO CC below***.

Thur Hull
Thru Hull
"An uncontrolled device that routes the flow of fluids, gases and solid materials."

The most popular exhaust option is a diverter. This controlled device allows for a bolder sound that is suited for the open water. This can be achieved with a thru-hull or the operator can switch to a thru-prop for quiet entry to marinas and boat docks.

CORSA Performance Marine offers two different thru-hull options: Quick & Quiet II **LINK TO QQII below*** and the Quick & Quiet***LINK TO below***

Exhaust Systems

Captains Call Plus
"The ultimate exhaust option available today."

When properly configured, the Captains Call Plus can meet most noise laws within the 50 states on any Stock 502 EFI or smaller production motor. This system incorporates a diverter that allows the captain to change from an aggressive thru-hull mode to a quieter thru-prop mode with a simple helm mounted on/off switch.

This control allows for a bolder sound that is suited for the open water, or the operator can switch to a thru-prop for quiet entry to marinas and boat docks. When exiting through the transom, the exhaust passes through silencer tips that reduce the sound levels to an acceptable level. As RPMs increase, more exhaust is forced through the Y-pipe, allowing optimum flow and noise reduction. This system tames some of the loudest motors without sacrificing any performance.

Captains Call
"Offers control and versatility"

This exhaust diverter allows the captain to change from an aggressive thru-hull mode to a quieter thru-prop mode with a simple helm mounted on/off switch. This control allows for a bolder sound that is suited for the open water. The operator can also switch to a thru-prop for quiet entry into marinas and boat docks. Even with an exhaust diverter installed in your boat, you may exceed the allowable noise level. If you boat in areas with noises restrictions, contact a CORSA Performance Marine representative about the Captains Call Plus system.

Quick & Quiet II
"A full time thru-hull system that maintains stock configuration"

When properly configured with mufflers, the Quick and Quiet II can meet most noise laws within the 50 states on any Stock 502 EFI or smaller production motor. Our system enables the exhaust to exit through the transom and the prop at the same time by combining a silencer tip with the housing of a diverter (no electronics). At lower RPMs most of the exhaust will be heard through the exhaust tips. As RPMs increase more exhaust is forced through the Y-pipe, allowing optimum flow and noise reduction.

Benefits of an Exhaust Silencer

REDUCED SOUND EMMIONS WITHOUT REDUCING ENGINE PERFORMANCE

An exhaust silencer is an acoustic device that muffles noise caused by air exhausting from an engine. A silencer can reduce sound emission levels on your boat without reducing engine performance. When correctly configured a silencer can make your boat more acceptable to dockside limits.

Acoustic Sound Reflection

Acoustic Sound Reflection (ASR) is a patented technology developed in conjunction with aerospace engineers in the early 1990s. ASR Technology allows for great flow characteristics while reducing sound emission levels. The technology is a combination of a spiral core with custom geometry that reflects the exhaust frequencies to reduce sound pressure levels, making your boat more acceptable to dockside limits. CORSA Performance Marine has incorporated the ASR Technology into multiple muffler configurations (see below) to support the wide rages of engines available. Please note the difference in product based on the size of the engine.

ASR Application based off engine size

350-454 Displacement
5" Exhaust Silencer Tips with ASR Technology

Patented silencing technology incorporated into a 5" diameter or bell shaped silencer tip case. Ideal for stock applications currently equipped with diverters. Will reduce noise levels below 90 dB (a) in most applications.

502 Displacement
5.5" Exhaust Silencers with ASR Technology

A slightly larger 5.5" muffler or silencer tip case combined with our patented silencing technology. Provides increased flow capacity for 400-415 horse power engines such as a 502 EFI while reducing the harsh sound associated with these larger engines.

500-525 Displacement
6" Exhaust Silencers with ASR Technology

For engines up to 525 horsepower, the 6" case provides excellent noise reduction with no measurable loss of power or performance. The larger case provides superior air flow while producing a pleasant, deep rumble that makes it easier to hear the radio or someone speaking.

ASR Applications for high horsepower engines

500-700 HP
6" Pressure Activated Exhaust Silencers with ASR Technology

CORSA Performance Marine's pressure activated bypass muffler was developed for boaters that utilize engines that produce above 500 horsepower. The concept is simple, the muffler is controlled by exhaust pressures by increasing RPMs. Results have proven an 8-10 dB reduction. When tested on a 700SCi the pressure activated bypass muffler has backpressure levels under Mercury Racing requirements.

525-600 HP
6.5" Exhaust Silencers With ASR Technology

Our largest mufflers and silencers developed for engines up to 600 horsepower. Call our sales technicians for further information and assistance on these special applications.

Baffled

With a crisscrossed corkscrew design our baffled silencers offer various options for every application. By using our baffled equipped product you can achieve decibel reduction without losing significant horsepower to the engine.
